Woman's Slipper Boots Crochet Pattern, Classic Snow Boots, US sizes 5-12, Now in French too!

After lot of requests, I finally found the time to write the boots pattern in woman's sizes. This crochet pattern is worked with two strands of worsted weight yarn held together making it sturdy and toasty at the same time. Though the buttons are functional, I found that you can  just slip in and out of the boot with ease even without opening the straps. I used  4 skeins of Vanna's choice for each pair of boots and still had some yarn left over.  This would be a stylish way to keep your feet warm!  I love boots and now I have one I can wear at home. I am still pondering which one to keep, the green or the grey. What other colors would you experiment with? Leave a comment below.

*Pattern is written in Standard American Terms.
*Pattern uses 2 strands of worsted weight yarn ( size 4 medium) held together.
* Pattern includes 4 sizes, Small ( fits US sizes 5/6), Medium (fits Us sizes 7/8) , Large ( fits US sizes 9/10) and Extra Large (fits US sizes 11/12)
* Pattern include lots of pictures to guide you.

  5. These are super cute.. The only advice I would like to offer though if you are doing these for small children or elderly is to put a sole on the bottom that will be slip proof...

    1. You can also use Tulip paint (so I hear, I'll be trying it soon) to make them skid proof. You just put little hearts (or paw prints etc) where the balls of your feet are and some on the toes and heel.

    1. Just wondering if these are easy to make? I'm advanced crocheter but have never tried making slippers/boots at all, and other patterns that I've seen seem so hard.

    2. Hi Michelle, The pattern isn't hard in itself but as you have never tried a slipper before, you might be a little slow.

  25. I just wanted to let you know that I think this may be the best written crochet pattern I have ever used! It was absolutely fool proof. All your little extra notes about where the stitch should be placed, etc. were priceless! I am making these for a disabled person with some serious foot issues, so it's a challenge at best. Finding that the pattern was so easy was wonderful! Thanks so much. I'll definitely be checking out your other patterns!

Trying to put a total price list together. Just wondering if you could tell me how much yarn is needed? If not it's cool. =) Can't wait to wrap a pair round my tootsies, as it's quite cold in Scotland.
    Absolutely love your design.

    1. You will need around 600 Yards of worsted weight yarn for sizes Small, Medium and Large, and around 640 Yards for Extra Large. You
will need 4 skeins of 150/160 yards each as the pattern is worked with 2 strands held together.
